Terms of Service (T&C) – jpnthings

1. Scope

These Terms of Service (T&C) apply to the use of the platform jpnthings.com and all associated central services, operated by Ilias Ammour, Altes Gericht 22, 35398 Giessen, Germany (hereinafter "Operator" or "we").

2. Service Description and Single Sign-On (SSO)

1. jpnthings.com serves as an information portal and central hub for Japan-related services.
2. The platform provides a central account system (Single Sign-On). With a jpnthings account, users can log into connected services (e.g., jpnboosted).
3. Important: jpnthings.com only provides the technical infrastructure for the account. If paid services or bookings are made via connected platforms (such as jpnboosted), the separate T&C of the respective platform apply exclusively.

3. Registration and Account Security

1. Registering an account is free of charge.
2. The user is obliged to provide truthful information during registration and to keep their login credentials (password) strictly confidential.
3. The user is responsible for all activities that occur under their account, unless they did not authorize them and are not at fault.
4. Users can delete their account at any time without giving reasons.
5. We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend accounts in the event of misuse, false information, or violations of these T&C.

4. Availability of Services

We strive to make the jpnthings.com platform and the account system available as uninterrupted as possible. However, there is no legal claim to 100% availability. We reserve the right to temporarily restrict the platform for maintenance or technical updates.

5. Limitation of Liability

1. The editorial content on jpnthings.com is created with the greatest possible care. However, we assume no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
2. We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages to life, body, and health.
3. For simple negligence, we are only liable in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations. In this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.
4. We assume no liability for content and services on external, linked websites or in connected sub-networks in the context of providing the jpnthings.com hub.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, images, texts, logos, and trademarks on jpnthings.com are protected by copyright. Any reproduction, distribution, or other use without our express written consent is prohibited.

7. Data Protection

Information on the collection and processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy at jpnthings.com/legal.

8. Amendments to the T&C

We reserve the right to change these T&C at any time. Registered users will be informed of significant changes via email. If the user does not object to the validity of the new T&C within four weeks of receiving the email, the amended T&C shall be deemed accepted.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
2. If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, Giessen, Germany, shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this user relationship.

10. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these T&C be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
