Consumer Dispute Resolution
The European Commission's platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG). Consumers may of course contact us directly at any time at hello@jpnthings.com; we endeavour to resolve any disagreement amicably.
Liability for Content
As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws pursuant to § 7 para. 1 DDG. According to §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this regard is only possible from the time of knowledge of a specific infringement. If we become aware of any such legal violations, we will remove the relevant content immediately.
This applies in particular to user-generated content on the Platform (e.g. customer reviews and host replies). Such content reflects the opinion of the respective author and not that of the Platform operator. We moderate reviews before publication; if you believe that published content infringes your rights, please notify us at hello@jpnthings.com.
Liability for Links
Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. Therefore, we cannot accept any liability for this third-party content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking; illegal content was not recognizable at that time. Permanent monitoring of the content of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of an infringement. If we become aware of any legal violations, we will remove such links immediately.

All other trademarks, vehicle model designations and manufacturer names mentioned on the Platform (e.g. names of Japanese vehicle manufacturers and models) are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive identification of the services offered. The Platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer.
Role of the Platform (Intermediary)
jpnthings operates the Platform as an intermediary platform and acts as a commercial agent for independent local service providers in Japan ("Suppliers"). The contracts for the services offered on the Platform (experiences, driving events, transfers, rentals and accommodation) are concluded directly between the customer and the respective Supplier; the services are performed by the Suppliers in Japan. The details of the contractual relationships are governed by our Terms and Conditions.
