Our team in Tokyo is your contact, in English and Japanese. We set up your listing together with you and are reachable on tour days.
Fair terms
Listing is free and there is no best-price clause. You keep your price and receive the rest of the payment directly from the guest.
How it works

The guest books on jpnthings
Your experience appears on jpnthings with you named as the provider.

Online, the guest pays only our fee
What the guest pays online at booking is our brokerage fee. We never hold money that belongs to you.

On the day, the guest pays you
The rest goes directly to you, in cash or by card, as you offer it. No waiting for payouts.
You remain the provider of your experience: your name appears on the booking, in the confirmation and on the page of your experience.
What we expect
- A registered business (sole proprietor or company)
- Liability insurance for your activity
- The licences your activity needs, for example to transport guests
- Reliable quality and an answer to booking requests within 24 hours
- A review by our team before you go live: a conversation and, where possible, a visit
From registration to your first guest

Register
Create your partner account and confirm your email.

Fill in the application
Your company, your experience and a few questions, in the portal.
- 03
Review
We talk to you and check your offer, on site where possible. Proofs come after the conversation.
- 04
Activation
Once activated you create your experience; we check it and put it online.
Questions
- Who can apply?
- Companies and registered sole proprietors (法人・個人事業主) with an experience in Japan.
- What does it cost?
- Listing is free. For each booking there is a fee, which the guest pays online to jpnthings as the deposit. You see its amount in your partner account once you are activated.
- When do I get my money?
- On the day, directly from the guest. You never wait for a payout from us.
- Do I need a Stripe or other payment account?
- No. Guests pay our fee online to us and the rest on site to you.
- Who writes the description?
- You provide the content in English or Japanese, and we prepare it together with you. It appears in English, German and Japanese.
- Which experiences do you take on?
- Experiences in and around Tokyo, Kanagawa and the Fuji area: culture, food, crafts, shows. Offers that include transporting guests we check one by one; you need the matching licence.
