Private Day Trip to Izu Peninsula: Mt. Omuro & Jogasaki Coast

Explore the Izu Peninsula on a journey through some of its most spectacular mountain and coastal landscapes. Drive along the famous Izu Skyline to Jukkoku Pass, where a cable car takes you to a panoramic viewpoint with incredible views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding mountains on clear days.

Continue deeper into Izu through winding mountain roads and nature, discovering hidden waterfalls, scenic viewpoints and places away from the usual tourist routes along the way.

From there, visit Mt. Omuro, an extinct volcanic crater rising above the peninsula. Take the chairlift to the top for panoramic views across Izu and the Pacific Ocean.

Finish at the dramatic Jogasaki Coast, shaped by ancient lava flows, where we explore the rocky coastline and visit the area’s longest suspension bridge high above the ocean.

Along the way, we’ll pass through some of Izu’s well-known coastal towns, with the option to stop for fresh local sushi or seafood.
